We've been very busy bees over here at the Cunard Building. Not only are we actually physically building the exhibition, we also have a growing team of people getting everything ready for the 9th March opening. If you're in Liverpool or the surrounding areas, you will see our advertisements starting to pop up on billboards and in magazine and also on the hoarding out front of the Cunard Building. It's a very exciting time for us and has taken a lot of work to get this far, we are hugely thankful to everyone in Liverpool who have been so warm and welcoming, we couldn't wish for a better home.
Tickets will go on sale on 18th November, so not only can you book your visit in advance of what we hope will be a very busy opening period, but you can also use us as that perfect Christmas present for that music fan in your family who reckons they can teach us a thing or two about the history of British Music. Keep our new team on their toes. You will be able to book online from our website or by phone from our ticketline.
In other news, we've just launched our Spotify profile on which we are planning on sharing many a playlist of your favourite genres, musical movements and periods in modern history. We've decided to kick things of with our 'Office Playlist', since this is currently the headquarters of all things BME, we felt it was very appropriate. We are going to update this every week and we've opened it up to feature songs from all over the world (not just British), old and new. We're pretty sure it's going to be a rather eclectic mix and give you a real snapshot into the brain of the people that are operating the British Music Experience. Click here to subscribe.
