We need you!
The British Music Experience is the UK’s national museum dedicated to telling the story of British Music from 1945 right through until the present day. We do this through over 600 amazing artefacts, alongside a great deal of interactivity. We open at the Cunard Building in Liverpool on 9th March and need your help.
We strive to tell the wider story, to showcase diversity and feature many different genres. We are asking you to share your favourite music experiences on social media, using the hashtag #britishmusicexperience.
You can tell a story of your favourite gig in a video, you can share a great photo that captured that perfect moment, or you can even write us a blog post and we will share it on our website, it’s up to you, whatever suits you best and helps share your favourite music experience.
We are inviting music fans everywhere to share their experiences with us so we can collect the wider story of British Music from music lovers everywhere. The first time you heard that life changing track, that show you went to that has stayed with you forever, we want to hear it all. It could even be that you want to put a spotlight on a new band that you've seen, share them with the world, this is your opportunity to share something special.
Follow us on our social media to see how it all goes.
