Half-Term Activities

Here at the British Music Experience we love keeping guests of all ages entertained, especially during the school holidays. This half-term is no exception.

For all those visiting us with children from Saturday 27th May until Sunday 4th June we've got some special extra activities to make it a visit to remember. Both of these activities are free when tickets are purchased for the experience (don't forget, under 5s get in free). Click on the activity title to be taken through to the event page.

Story Time Session - 'Lucy In The Sky'

Twice daily at 11.30am and 1pm.

Suitable for under sevens.

Come join us for this family friendly story-time session where we will be joining Lucy Diamonds as she embarks on a journey with John, Paul, Ringo and George.

We are inviting you to accompany Lucy on her adventure with the Fab Four. You'll get to tap your tambourines and shake your maracas to help create new sounds inspired by all the colourful characters they meet along the way, including Mr Kite, Sgt. Pepper and the Octopus.

Design Your Own Guitar

Every day from 12pm-1pm and 1.30pm-3pm.

Suitable for all ages.

Join the British Music Experience Crew and get creative with this hands-on activity and design your own guitar.

Get inspired by the guitars in our collection along with our Gibson Interactive Studio. We want you to let your imagination run wild. Imagine you are a rockstar up on stage and have the chance to decide exactly how your guitar is going to look. Create your signature model. Would it be patterned? Would it sparkle? You decide.

This is a great opportunity for children of all ages to get creative.
