Presenting 'Phonic Feature', our new Music Production Masterclasses series designed to help you advance your sound.
Phonic Feature takes a new approach to our masterclasses. First, these masterclasses are hosted in the incredibly atmospheric British Music Experience, home to memorabilia, instruments and costumes from British Music pioneers including Coldplay, the Beatles and even Bowie - instantly setting the tone for an evening of musical innovation and growth. Secondly, we have crafted the masterclass line-up to focus on our cities electronic rising stars to showcase their already masterful approach to music production.
Each evening will begin with a musical conversation exploring their journey so far and how their goals have been achieved. Through this conversation, we aim to shed light on the reality of the music industry and how you can set yourself up for success. This will then be followed by a music production masterclass, showing you how they create their music and provide tips and techniques to inspire and empower you, the emerging music makers of Liverpool.
The first masterclass in this series is the incredible Nautica. The DJ and Production duo Josh Lewis and Caolan Savage are rising quickly onto the international scene through crafting their hard-hitting sound on dance-floors gathering some serious heat.
With their hotly-anticipated EP just landing on Solid Grooves and their recent release on DVINE Sounds, alongside an ever-growing repertoire of unreleased productions, 2019 is seeing Nautica rise to the forefront of the UK House and Techno scene.
From recently performing at We Are Festival to gathering early support from some of the industry's biggest and best - with artists such as Steve Lawler, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Solardo, Danny Howard, Hannah Wants & Sam Divine already on board, it is undeniable that the future is definitely looking bright for the pair.
