The British Music Experience is a registered not-for-profit charity. Registered Charity No. 1125752.
Our purpose is to advance the education and appreciation of the art, history and science of music in Britain.
We have a full public and educational programme with workshops, lectures, master-classes and concerts aiming to help teachers raise standards in your school across the national curriculum for children aged 8 to 16 and for the qualifications aimed at young people aged 14 to 19.
The Education Programme covers a broad range of subjects from music, through history into science and citizenship. It is tailored to suit students of differing age groups, abilities and interests from 8 years up to 18 and will tie into the relevant parts of the National Curriculum.
The British Music Experience also offers events for Lifelong Learners, a unique programme of Master-Classes and free evening seminars, each focusing on different areas of the music industry, from performance through to artist management.
There is no other cultural provider in the UK which offers such an engaging range of learning opportunities, and as a result each year over 40,000 learners benefit.
