Book an education visit to the British Music Experience before the end of October 2017 and get 25% off the cost of your visit.
The British Music Experience tells the story of British Music through costumes, instruments, performance and memorabilia.
We’ve got outfits worn by artists from David Bowie to the X Factor finalists, musical instruments from Noel Gallagher to the Sex Pistols and memorabilia from the Beatles through to Adele. You can also try the vocal booth, dance the decades or play top guitars and drums.
Children can enjoy a fun, inspiring, interactive environment that explores British music and its social, historic, cultural and political impacts on the world in which we live. We offer a range of workshops, tours and activity plans following Key Stages 1-4 of the National Curriculum, covering topics including English, ICT, art & design, citizenship and of course music.
Our Gibson Interactive Studio provides every child with the opportunity to play real professional musical instruments including keyboards and drum kits to acoustic and electric guitars. Our specially trained staff are on hand to help and there are interactive video lessons to support all levels; from complete beginners to advanced musicians. For the more extrovert pupils, our vocal booth allows children to sing along to a variety of well-known tracks and record their performance to email home.
Whatever their age, the British Music Experience has something for pupils of all ages.
Book before 31 October 2017 and you can get a 25% discount on our special education rate of £10 per pupil. Trips can be booked for any date from October 2017 to 31 July 2018.
