Housed within our fully accessible exhibition building, the British Music Experience has been designed to cater for visitors of all ages and abilities. With interactive hands-on exhibits, a rich mix of audio-visual interpretation and additional support material, we provide a full and enriching experience for all of our visitors.
Groups with specific needs can arrange for a member of staff to greet them and facilitate a tour of the exhibition allowing them to explore the British Music Experience in a unique way. We also offer the use of our educational room as a break-out space with advance notice.

The Beatles
During Beatlemania a massive amount of merchandise was produced to satisfy demand from fans. Everything from wigs, outfits and combs to talc, jewellery and toys were created with a Beatles theme. English toy manufacturer Selcol produced a number of plastic instruments which displayed images and autographs of the band. Curiously these plastic instruments are now very valuable - because they were so cheap and disposable no-one ever thought they'd be worth anything and, consequently, very few have survived.
