Founded in London in 1971, Hard Rock Café has expanded over the past 40 years to a worldwide audience and currently includes over 170 venues in 51 countries. Known as the home of international music memorabilia, Hard Rock’s first ever piece was a guitar given to the London restaurant by legend Eric Clapton to reserve his favourite spot at the bar. 2011 sees the iconic Hard Rock celebrate its 40th birthday with exciting events taking place throughout the year.

The British Music Experience are showcasing four decades of iconic Rock and Roll memorabilia as part of the legendary Hard Rock Café’s 40th birthday celebrations.

The British Music Experience, the UK’s only museum of popular music, will be displaying item and rock memorabilia from legends such as;

Tina Turner * Pete Townsend * Bon Jovi * Slash * The Black Eyed Peas * Johnny Cash * John Lennon * Stevie Nicks * Taylor Swift * Oasis * Eric Clapton * Mick Jones * Neil Young * Billy Idol * and many more

The collection of 40 never before seen items will take visitors through an astounding journey of unforgettable rock and roll memories and moments.

The Hard Rock collection is free to enter to anyone with a valid British Music Experience ticket from 11:00 until 19:30 (last ticket entry 18:30).
