With activities, talks and demonstrations Industry Insiders use the music industry as a backdrop to explore subjects as diverse as ICT, Business studies, Travel and tourism, Film and media, event management, Fashion, and more…

The British Music Experience has teamed up with Industry partner Sennheiser to give Students aged 16 and above the opportunity to meet ICT professionals face-to-face.
Hear inside stories and get hands on with some of the world’s best recording and playback hardware. Experience the revolutionary 'invisible' K-Array PA system, try on special noise cancelling headphones, find out how ergonomic microphones can be designed to record perfect surround sound and explore the BME using your RFID smarticket, allowing students to record and continue their experience on our website.

In our increasingly technological world music can be heard on many different platforms. David Stopps explains how the internet, film, TV, Advertising and Video Games can all be used to sell your music.
David Stopps is Director of Copyright and Related Rights for the
Music Managers Forum UK and for the International Music Managers Forum. In 2008 Stopps commenced a series of international workshops for the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to explain to artists and managers how they can make a living from music using the internet. We are delighted to bring this series to the British Music Experience for a student audience.
