Step into interactive, audio-visual spaces that explore great British music moments throughout history, witness fascinating one-off interviews between the biggest stars, see an awe-inspiring display of famous artefacts "come to life", record songs, learn instruments, bust moves on the dance floor and get lost in our live music experience.
Combining Music, Citizenship, PSHEE, ICT and Literacy with core curriculum subjects a visit can inspire and revitalise learning across the curriculum.
Workshop– Explore IT

From ticketing systems to streaming music, the British Music Experience's innovative use of ICT offers students a new perspective on the way technology can be used in a business. Students find out how ICT is used for interacting with guests, displaying, recording and retrieving information and then are tasked to come up with the next innovation.

Discover how many people are actually involved in the making of a popstar. With insider knowledge from vocal coaches, choreographers, stylists, managers, songwriters and even the fans, students discover how health, money and creativity all play equal parts in the music industry.

From Calypso music introduced through immigrant routes such as the Empire Windrush to the 'Beat' generation from the coast of California London has been influenced by different cultures around the world. Pick up your passports and travel through place and time as we discover our eclectic history and find out what makes London the cultural and creative hub of the world in our globe trotting workshop.
