We welcomed Steve Levine to kick off our Producer Series on Wednesday 10th March.
Steve has worked in the recording industry since the mid 70s learning his craft as an engineer working with The Clash. He built his reputation sculpting the sound of the 80s and produced all of Culture Club's classic hits including 'Karma Chameleon' and the bands' first three albums which have sold over 20 million records worldwide.
Since then he has worked with artists as diverse as Stevie Wonder, Motorhead and the Beach Boys as well as being instrumental in the release of a official charity record following the 2004 Tsunami, ensuring that Brian Wilson, Barry & Robin Gibb, Sir Cliff Richard, Boy George and Steve Winwood contributed to the song which was a Top 5 single in the UK charts and a No. 1 on the independent charts.
Steve shared his expertise, knowledge and pop stories during this special Q&A.
