October Half-Term fun

As part of this Autumn’s national Big Draw campaign and our own See The Music season we are investigating the story of poster design with hands on family workshops for half term.

All of our workshops are included in the price of entry to the museum, just turn up and join in the fun.

Psychedelic Posters
Half term family art workshop
22 to 28 October 2011
Daily 2pm to 4pm

Step into the 70s to create your own psychedelic posters with bright colours, bold patterns and fantasy landscapes. Then fast forward to the modern day and get technical to include them in a large scale digital moving poster.

We’ve also got a room full of instruments for you to try in our brand new Co-operative Jam Studio so you can see the music from the stage!

Our newly refurbished education room will be opening it’s doors for you to try out all our weird and wonderful instruments this October half term. From the Theremin to the Ukulele or even the spoons we’re sure to have something you can play!
