July 16th to 25th - Radio Caroline
The original pirate radio station takes up residency in the British Music Experience for one week only. Visitors will be able to see them in action in our Jam Studio throughout the day and a few lucky Sound Stage guest list members will be invited to meet them. Sign up to find out how!

July 17th – Spotlight LDN at Indigo2
Spotlight LDN brigns together the UK’s best funky, grime, R&B and hip hop artists to launch 2010’s hottest new summer anthems, supported one of East London’s leading live bands, Groove Control. With Leading DJ’s Play Ent, Crazy Cousins, DJ Spooky and Paleface, this event promises to be a spectacular display of exciting artists.

John Lennon
These glasses are typical of the iconic round lense glasses worn by Lennon from the mid-60s. They were one of twelve pairs of gold-rimmed glasses donated to the British and Overseas Optical Mission by The Beatles in 1966. John Lennon was a prominent figure in the counter-culture movement. His anti-war stance is best seen in his and Yoko Ono’s 1969 ‘Bed-Ins’ during the Vietnam War.
