Duran Duran
Duran Duran were one of the most popular ‘New Romantic’ acts and are widely considered to be pioneers in both fashion and music video. This suit was worn by drummer Roger Taylor in the promotional material and video for 1982 hit song ‘Rio’. The music video has since become synonymous with the excesses and glamour of the early 1980s period - the band are filmed in expensive Anthony Price suits singing aboard a yacht which is racing over the Caribbean Sea.
