Join us as we delve into the world of seven-time GRAMMY winner Taylor Swift.
Coinciding with her five-show run at The O2, this pop-up exhibition features four of Taylor’s stage outfits and a selection of British photographer Christie Goodwin’s work as official photographer during the last three tours that have punctuated her rise to global pop-chart domination.
Lauded by The New York Times as “one of the most important pop artists of the last decade” for her brilliant songwriting and incandescent performances, Taylor became the first artist since the Beatles – and the only female artist in history – to log six or more weeks at number one with three consecutive studio albums with her current album RED.
In terms of the young American’s impact on British popular music, her collaborations with artists such as Ed Sheeran are evidence of our longstanding exchange with prominent artists across the globe.  Taylor’s forthcoming shows at The O2 allow us to look a little closer at a musician that is without doubt influencing British artists of the future.

The cross-section of Goodwin’s images from the Fearless, Speak Now and RED tours that accompany the stage outfits, perfectly capture the energy and artistry of her live shows. Providing an intimate portrait of Taylor as a performing artist, these images allow us to share in some of the stolen moments caught with fans, dancers and Taylor herself.

We will also be hosting a range of activities for families, schools and the public which examine women in music, songwriting and the cross-over between country and pop throughout the exhibition. Stay tuned for more information.
