Chris Barber
Chris Barber began playing trombone with Humphrey Lyttelton in 1949 before forming and leading his own jazz bands. In 1953, he also played alongside Ken Colyer before forming the famous Barber Band. As well as being one of the most influential jazz musicians, he was also instrumental in the development of both the skiffle and R&B scenes in Britain during the 1950s and 60s.
