In homage to the rich variety of festivals on offer throughout the UK, the BME will create an immersive walk-through experience looking at how 'the festival' has become embedded within our culture as a rite of passage. The audience will be witness to a visual and audio soundscape which will take them on a journey through the decades from the sub-culture youths of the sixties and seventies to now, the main stream population.
The British Music Experience will be open 5:30pm-10pm for this year's Light Night. The Star Cafe will be open for food and refreshments.
This event is part of the tenth annual LightNight Liverpool, the free one-night arts festival, which is taking place on Friday 17 May 2019.
Festival guides can be purchased from selected outlets across the city centre or ordered online at www.lightnightliverpool.co.uk.
LightNight is produced by local social enterprise Open Culture.
