Open Sessions – Come on down to the British Music Experience where we will be hosting our Oct Open Sessions. Meet our Visitor Experience Musicians who are on hand every day from 3 - 4pm in the Gibson Interactive instrument studio. The Open Sessions are designed to make music accessible whether you’re a beginner or advanced you can have a go at playing an instrument and unleash your inner musician.

We will be dedicating a space in our Gibson Brands Interactive Studio to under-fives. The section will include percussion and rhythm instruments so your tots can dance to the beat of their own rhythm.

Come along to the British Music Experience and take part in our free Family Trail. Meet Dougie Floyd and his gang of musical mates, explore the exhibition following clues and completing puzzles along the way. Complete the Trail and receive a certificate making you a British Music Explorer.

Come join us after hours this October half term for Film Night at the Museum where we will be showing the cult classic Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice is a 1988 American fantasy-comedy-horror film directed by Tim Burton. The plot revolves around a recently deceased young couple (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) who become ghosts haunting their former home an obnoxious, devious poltergeist named Beetlejuice (played by Michael Keaton) comes up from the Netherworld and tries to scare away the new inhabitants (Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones, and Winona Ryder) permanently.
Our Star Café will be serving cinema style snacks and drinks (including alcoholic beverages).
