Phonic Feature 3: Kokiri (Music Production Masterclass)

Event Ended

Imagine… One Thursday evening, a room full of ambitious music producers and a focus on how to make great electronic music. It’s time for another LAN music production masterclass!

Our free masterclass series, Phonic Feature returns for the second event. This time we are joined by Liverpool based Kokiri! Did you know that in 2015 Kokiri was behind the hit summer hit ‘Turn Back Time’ released on Ministry of Sound? Now with collaborations with Dragonette and official remixes for the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Karen Harding, Kokiri’s got a weath of knowledge to spill on music production and the industry.

These masterclasses are hosted in the incredibly atmospheric British Music Experience, home to memorabilia, instruments and costumes from British Music pioneers including Coldplay, the Beatles and even Bowie - instantly setting the tone for an evening of musical innovation and growth.

What will be happening?
We will be kicking things off with a musical conversation exploring Kokiri’s journey so far and how he’s achieved his goals. Through this conversation, we aim to shed light on the reality of the music industry and how you can set yourself up for success. This will then be followed by a music production masterclass, showing you how ASOK create’s his electronic music and Stu will provide some tips and tricks to inspire and empower you, the emerging music makers of Liverpool.

Phonic Feature #3: Kokiri at 7:00 pm on Thursday 18th July at the British Music Experience, Cunard Building, L3 1DS (Next to the Royal Liver Building). This event is FREE to attend but stands on a ‘Pay What You Feel’ basis to make it accessible to everyone.
