Film Night: Supersonic
Thursday 16 November, 7.30pm

In support of our current exhibition Epiphone 150th Anniversary: Featuring the Guitars of Noel Gallagher – we’re screening the 2016 documentary film, Supersonic.
Watch this iconic documentary about the history of Oasis during their formative years, surrounded by some of Noel’s private guitar collection, including his Epiphone Riviera with Bigsby from the Definitely Maybe album cover and his Epiphone Frontier FT110 used on the (What's the Story) Morning Glory recording.
The film charts the band at the height of their success in the 1990s, featuring off-screen interviews with members of the band and people associated with them, set to archive video of concerts, interviews and backstage footage
“A spectacularly lairy documentary, it’s a vivid look at the glory days of Britpop’s finest but also gently picks apart the torrid relationship at the heart of the band – that of lovers, fighters and brothers Noel and Liam.” Leonie Cooper, NME
Director: Mat Whitecross

Please note, our museum galleries are closed during film screenings. There are no ads or trailers, the film starts at 7.30pm.
