The Clash's debut album 40 years on. Hear the stories about one of the most important British albums ever from someone who was involved in its making. Get the inside story and hear extracts from the original recordings.

Steve Levine started his studio career as the tape op on this legendary record. After that he became house engineer for many iconic punk bands. He then went on to produce albums by the likes of The Beach Boys and Culture Club.

The BME host this evening event in it's main space. A wonderful setting in an iconic building to hear about such an iconic album.

This is a separately ticketed event from the normal BME. Come and share a special evening with us. Advance tickets are £5 available from the ticketing desk at the BME. Tickets will be £6 on the door.
