Advance booking will give you an automatic online discount and guarantee entry at your desired time. You may book online up to half an hour before your desired entry time. We operate to time-slots every 15 minutes. Please arrive promptly for your time-slot. You can also buy tickets at the museum if you prefer.

One complimentary carer’s ticket is available for each eligible visitor. The carer's ticket does not need to be booked in advance. On arrival at the museum, please make yourself known along with the person you are caring for. Show the purchased ticket and your companion's proof of disability plus your carer’s ID, and you will be issued your complimentary carer's ticket. We will guarantee entry for 1 carer per eligible visitor.

Last entry is at 4pm.

The British Music Experience is a permanent national attraction. We are delighted to be based in Liverpool, a UNESCO City of Music.

Yes, both our Merch Store and Star Café are located off our main entrance foyer and are open to the general public. You do not need a museum ticket to use them.

You can discover the history of British Rock and Pop with your smartphone. Just download the free Smartify app and you can listen to our audio tour. To use Smartify in the Galleries, scan the QR code at the start of your journey and follow the tour around the museum. Please bring your own headphones to get the best experience.
